In these modern times where technology development is hard to stop the abandonment of traditional methods of archiving and labeling data, products or goods. Registration of items in paper form may now be considered archaic way, and therefore are increasingly used by Web applications and databases, in particular the need to organize the data to a shortening of time to work with new information. The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design software solution for organizing and managing data on the external HDD. The aim was creating a modern information system for registration video data and HDD on which the data is stored. Data caters to the MySQL database system using SQL commands. PhpMyAdmin was used to create database structure. The system is implemented with HTML, PHP and CSS. Linking with the actual HDD is solved using printed labels with QR codes.
