The main objective of the TM02000071 project is to develop, test and pilot deploy an RFID reader operating in the 865 – 868 MHz band, in a compact design with an antenna, power supply and communication interface (up to 1.5 kg), suitable for attachment to a drone. We will support the implementation of the result with a SW module and two methodologies. The SW module for determining tag readability serves to define the height (or distance) from which a placed tag can be effectively read in a given environment. The first methodology describes the most suitable combination of RFID tags and their placement on objects in an outdoor warehouse. The second describes the output from reading RFID tags provided by our reader and their suitable method of reading into third-party information systems. The Korean side will address the issue more at the software level, especially with regard to data processing from optical cameras on drones, image analysis, artificial intelligence and a system for planning the optimal route above the outdoor warehouse and a warehouse management system.
The project is being carried out by GABEN, spol. s r.o. and the University of Mining – Technical University of Ostrava / Faculty of Mining and Geology.
